James Chan, MD
As a double board certified physician (in both Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery) Dr. Chan brings to our practice experience in the full gamut of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. He has special interest in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, head, and neck including reconstructive procedures following facial trauma and skin cancer excision. His expertise in nasal and sinus surgery, disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, pediatric otolaryngology, and aesthetic surgery of the face allows us to offer comprehensive options and specialized care.

Professional Experience
Dr. Chan was Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford University Medical Center and attending surgeon at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center prior to entering private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. While at the Palo Alto VA, Dr. Chan provided care to injured Iraqi Veterans by performing facial reconstructive surgery.
