Unlike the majority of external suppliers, our PAP supply program consists of one empathetic professional who provides highly-personalized attention to detail and care coordination with the practice physicians through regular, effective communication. Depending on your specific insurance plan, patients of Mt. Scott ENT & Sleep Medicine may be able to obtain DME supplies directly through our office. These can be sent directly to your home, and most insurance companies help cover 90 days’ worth of supplies, every three months.
While PAP supplies are durable, they do require regular replacement. The typical resupply schedule is as follows:
- Masks: One mask every 3 months.
- Tubing: One tubing every 3 months.
- Filters: Two filters every month.
- Cushions/Seals: One cushion or seal every month.
- Headgear: One headgear every 6 months.
- Water chamber: One water chamber every 6 months.
