Professional Experience
Dr. Pluim holds a clinical doctorate in Audiology from Utah State University, where he gained experience working with adults and pediatrics in performing diagnostic audiological testing, hearing aid fitting, and cochlear implant services.
Dr. Pluim completed his audiology education with a clinical fellowship at the Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange, California. While at Providence his clinical experience included rotations in their adult, pediatric, and cochlear implant clinics. He also had regular rotations at an ENT office, and with an interdisciplinary medical team for children with craniofacial disorders, and regularly conducted hearing screenings with community partners and businesses.
Dr. Pluim enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, gardening, and playing with his boys, and is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient-centered hearing healthcare possible.
